Meet our team
Claire Holland
Senior Associate
Claire is an experienced educator, trainer, researcher, and practitioner in individual and workplace performance enhancement.
With PhD thesis exploring aspects of positive psychology with anxiety and stress, Claire specialises in conflict management, engagement and communication.
As a facilitator and coach, Claire works with groups in facilitated sessions and individuals in performance enhancement coaching to deepen understanding about situations and contexts and develop communication and action plans.
Claire is also a nationally accredited mediator and accredited conflict coach.
Sascha Rixon
Senior Associate
Sascha is an experienced consultant, facilitator, educator, and well-being practitioner with over 15 years’ experience working in management consulting and teaching, learning, and research in the higher education sector. She has a varied academic background (including a Science degree, a PhD in Organisational Behaviour and Linguistics, and a Master of Counselling) and draws upon this diverse knowledge base in her work.
Sascha is passionate about inclusive and respectful workplace communication. She has extensive experience researching and working with healthcare professionals to explore and improve healthcare communication. Three themes that characterise Sascha’s career include developing others, community building, and catalysing change.
Sascha seeks to help facilitate more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organisations. She is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Qld Diversity and Inclusion forum, and the Diversity Practitioners Association (DPA).
Bob Dick
Senior Consultant
In the distant past Bob Dick has been shop assistant, electrician, draftsperson, recruitment officer, and industrial psychologist. For the past 30 years he has been academic, publisher, consultant, and facilitator. Currently, independent scholarship, consultancy and facilitation take up much of his time.
His consultancy and facilitation is varied, but is primarily directed towards community development and organisation development. He also helps people learn action research, qualitative evaluation, change management, and the communication and facilitation skills which are a foundation for these. In this work he uses highly participative methods to help others to improve their practice while also trying always to improve his own.
He lives in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane with his partner of 31 years, Camilla, in a house frequently overrun by grandchildren.
Andrew Rixon
Founder & Director
Andrew Rixon PhD DTM is a leadership coach, researcher and educator with particular interest and passion for innovation, leadership and change. Founder of Babel Fish Group, a boutique management consulting company specialising in positive approaches to leadership and change. Andrew has worked across diverse industry and organisations within Australia and internationally across the US, UK and Asia.
Andrew is the lead author of “Communicating with RESPECT: An action learning approach for health professionals” and founded in 2009 The Story Conference, a highly successful national conference series that focuses on the use and application of story and narrative approaches within organisations and communities.
With significant educator experience across Australian business schools including University of Melbourne, Monash University, Swinburne University and James Cook University. Andrew is a Faculty Member at Griffith Business School.
